Martone

Lansing, Michigan native Martone is a House/EDM stylistic singer based out of Dallas, Texas. Martone’s entertainment career began at the age of 13 years old hosting a music video show in his hometown of Lansing, MI called Video Control.

Martone had the opportunity to meet and interview some of the world’s most recognizable figures in the world of Hip Hop & R-n-B such as, En Vogue, Will Smith, Chuck-D, Color Me Badd and many more. After Video Control ran its course, Martone felt as if he was at a crossroads in his life. He wasn’t sure what it was that he wanted to do exactly; he loved dancing, and performing.

“At that time in my life, I lacked the confidence to go out there and give a show. And now, I’ve been through a few personal things in my life, where I feel I have nothing to lose and everything to gain”. He said. A few years after Video Control ended, Martone dabbled in modeling locally.

He did runway shows for a local designer, and then he picked up photography as well. Martone then got the television bug again, and went to obtain a diploma from Spec’s Howard School of Media Arts in Southfield, MI a suburb of Detroit. From there, Martone went on to incorporate his business Enotram Entertainment in 2007.

Never one to rest on his laurels, Martone started a radio talk show on BlogTalkRadio.com and the show became highly successful. Due to the blogtalkradio’s limitations Martone had decided to open his own online radio station IRMIXRadio.com from there Martone had interviewed more of entertainment’s elite such as Austin Brown, nephew to Michael and Janet Jackson.

T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh from Cosby and That’s So Raven, Shanna Moakler from Hollywood Ex’s and Meet the Barkers. For the past three years Martone had considered making an album, but due to other responsibilities in his life he had decided to put it on hold. It wasn’t until after his father Riley L. Duncan passed away, a local area DJ in Lansing, MI his passion for writing had reignited and thus the process had begun. In the summer of 2014, Martone had contacted his cousin, Michael E. Williams, II of Platinum Keyz Recordings to produce his upcoming album The Evolution of Martone. Martone has often said, The Evolution of Martone sums up his career in the entertainment field, “I have been a producer, director and T.V. and radio personality, why not put out the type of music that I enjoy? I love to dance and sing those are my true passions”. He said. The Evolution of Martone 2nd Edition hits stores on September 25, 2015.

Martone is an artist to watch on the EDM/Dance scene. The album is a high-energy dance album that will have people moving in the clubs, in their cars all over the world.
