Singer/Songwriter, DeDe Wedekind from Houston, Texas, won the 2016 BEST NEW Female ARTIST of the YEAR at the April 2016 Indie Music Channel Awards in Los Angeles! 

Her original “Dream of You” also won her Best Americana Song, Production, and Americana Artist of the Year. DeDe received the IMEA 2015 AC Song of the Year Award for her new song, “Stronger” also from her latest album, Dream of You. In 2015, DeDe also was nominated for Song of the Year for another new song, “Prime of Life”, which she performed at the IMEA Awards in October 2015 as a Featured Performer. 

Currently DeDe has 2 Nominations for 2016 Indie Artist of the Year, and DeDe's awaiting word on multiple Finalist Standings in the 2016 UK Songwriting Contest.

DeD Wedekind, has 4 albums including Dream of You (Feb 2016), her latest effort featuring N’Sync’s Multi-Platinum songwriter: Andrew Fromm. Album #3, World of Christmas (Nov. 2013), features her original songs, as well as new arrangements of familiar Christmas classics by DeDe.
