Our CD (Covers of Comfort) is a   12-song collection of adult contemporary/inspirational covers produced and mixed by Ron Wikso, and arranged by Grammy-nominatedWally Minko. The CD's eclectic song list features everything from a Leonard Cohenclassic (Hallelujah), to a beloved gospel great (Just A Closer Walk with Thee) that is paired beautifully with The Beatles' Let It Be.

Who is Marcy Requist? Marcy is (in some ways) an “accidental recording artist”, because she never expected her personal go-to “rainy-day” playlist would provide the material for a CD. Singing since she can remember, music has always been a type of “therapy” for her; but she didn’t know others would be moved by her singing these songs until she met Ron Wikso. They never really set out to record a CD, but there was obviously something bigger at work here than just the two of them. Now their story, and how they are using music as a “soft place to land” for others going through tough times (as well as using their CD to raise money for charities) has created something undeniably unique.
